Do You Want to Have Fun and Meet New People while You Learn to Dance?

Being single can mean very different things in a dance sense. It can mean:

Not currently having a partner.
Having lost a close partner, or even
Having a partner who is not yet interested in dancing.

After all, lots of couples have very different leisure interests and social dancing is often one of them.

The culture at Firefly Dance Club is such that it’s easy to get to know people attending at similar times as you, whether you are in for a group class, private lesson or a social event.

You will find Firefly Dance Club to be a great place to meet new people with an interest in common in a safe and friendly environment where lots of people come on their own. For example, in all Firefly Dance Club group classes we rotate partners regularly so you have the opportunity to dance (and laugh) with everyone dancing the opposite role in your class.

At Firefly Dance Club we teach social partner dance styles. Dancing is a great skill to learn and useful in so many social situations allowing you meet new people at a range of events.

• Women love a partner who can dance and lead well enough to make them look and feel good.
• Men feel more confident asking someone to dance if they know how to dance and lead even if only a few steps.
• Neither men nor women like to be “wallflowers” or feel left out at any social occasion.

Working on your dancing is a great way to improve your posture and poise, helping you to feel good about yourself and more confident in all situations. We particularly encourage you to attend our regular Firefly Friday social evening to help you gain the confidence to use your new skills outside the Studio.

What do we offer to Singles to Make Learning to Dance Fun and Easy?

As Firefly Dance Club is the place to dance it offers a well thought through program that attracts discerning people – who, just like you, are looking to relax and have a good time.  The series group classes at Firefly Dance Club run in 8 week terms, giving you the opportunity to meet the same people each week and start building connections. You can then, if you want, carry on into the next level class with the same group of people. If you are really keen this can lead to Bronze Level dancing.

You could try a Firefly Dance Club Membership – gaining you entry to all the casual classes at your level or below and allowing you to interact with several groups. Membership includes entry to all our Firefly Friday Dance Nights. These are very friendly occasions and everybody dances with everybody else and has a really good time.
