Firefly Dance Club presents Firefly Friday!

Firefly Fridays are held nearly every month at the Studio and are a great way to end the working week. Join us for a glass of wine or beer, light refreshments and a fabulous opportunity to have a dance in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Each Firefly Friday is themed – dates and themes are listed below in the upcoming program. You can dress according to the theme or not as you choose.  Firefly’s staff have no choice and will do their best to dress to the theme, provide music (and nibbles) reflecting the theme!!

Everyone is welcome – you do not need to take lessons at Firefly to attend our Firefly Friday. And you are welcome to bring friends. Joining in the beginners class will give you a few steps to get you going.

6.30pm – 7.30pm Beginners Class

This class is a great way to start the evening for our guests that are new to dancing. Several dance styles will be covered so you will be able to dance throughout the rest of the evening. Our more experienced dancers are welcome to attend this class when they bring new friends to Firefly Fridays.

7.30pm – 8.00pm Featured Dance Style Class

Each Firefly Friday is themed and will feature a “Dance Style of the Evening”. This class will cover the basics in that dance and some special variations that you can use throughout the night.

8.00pm -10.30pm General Dancing

We play music suitable to dance a range of Latin and Ballroom dances along with Salsa, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle and Rock ‘n Roll.

We are located in Artarmon, easily accessible from the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Northern Beaches. With street parking right outside the front door.

Admission: $30 per person or included in Firefly Dance Club Memberships.
