Our Dance Space
Firefly has its own Studio and dance floor and is located at 23 Dickson Avenue in Artarmon on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Despite the deceptive entrance, Firefly has 300m2 of dance space, divided into two areas. The dance floor is a beautiful rich red (plantation) Merbau, double sprung, giving our teachers and customers the best dance experience as well as comfort to feet, ankles and knees. Further, our dance space is fully air-conditioned.
Group Classes are run in one area and Private Lessons in the other but the whole area can be opened up into one large dance space for Social Nights. Mirrors in each area assist with the teaching process.
Firefly’s Dance Space has lots of natural light and sunshine during the day. Comfortable seating is provided with a coffee machine, tea and filtered water always available. We make sure each new customer is fully acquainted with the studio and its features on first arrival.

Street parking is plentiful, especially after normal work hours and we are a short walk from Artarmon and St Leonards stations. If you are arriving during the day before 6.00pm Willoughby Council runs a free bus service – the Artarmon Loop – from St Leonards station, which stops nearby.
