From time to time the schedule will change and classes may be added or amended. Prices for casual classes are:

• Single Drop in class – $20
• 4 class pass (valid for 6 weeks) – $75
• 8 class pass (valid for 10 weeks) – $140

Learning to Dance in Casual Dance Classes at Firefly Dance Club

Casual or Drop In dance classes are group dance classes that require no booking  They are structured in a way that you can attend classes regularly or intermittently and still benefit as you learn to dance. Each class can be taken on its own – you can just turn up and pay at the door. This suits those on shift work or who travel frequently and cannot attend 8 week series classes.

However, some drop in dance classes have pre-requisites as they involve prior learning and dance skills – so look at the information on each casual class or ring the Studio on 1300 725 977 to check that the dance class you are interested in is right for you, at your level.

Casual dance classes also fit into Firefly’s overall program that is aimed at progressing your skill in dancing, so they are offered at the various levels from absolute beginner to advanced.  This way if you want to attend casual classes, as well as other group classes or private lessons, everything meshes together to improve your dancing.

Casual group dance classes at Firefly Dance Club are a great way to learn to dance while meeting new people.  Everyone will be learning together and have the opportunity to dance with many other people, a necessary step in learning to dance well. Our easiest level (Sampler) is aimed at people who have never danced before.

Our dance classes are quite small to ensure you have individual attention despite being part of a group class. However, as we have no way to tell how many people will turn up to any casual class we cannot promise a gender balanced class.

Firefly Dance Club runs a range of casual classes on Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. There’s bound to be a time that suits you!

If you would like to dance a number of times each week try our Full Membership – this allows you to attend all casual classes at your level as well as providing many other benefits, for one low monthly payment. As you progress in your dancing more classes will become suitable for you.
