Get Fit While Having Fun!

The Firefly Dance Club has a great class for those who want to have fun getting fit.

Our Latin Workout is an exercise class with a difference. You can learn the latin moves and have some fun while increasing your fitness. This class uses a range of movements from Latin dances to give you a great workout to wonderful music. All dancing/movement is solo so you do not need to have a partner.

Our first time participants have so much fun that they don't realise how much of a workout it has been until the end.

"Towards the end of 2007 I had been deciding on New Years resolutions as most people do. I wanted to get back into exercise and since I had attended some dance/exercise classes in the past I thought I'd like to try dancing. I was looking on line and had had a few places suggested to me by colleagues.

Then for Christmas 2007 2 of my best friends gave me a Starter Kit for Firefly Dance Club. My friends had checked out several studios also and found Firefly to be friendly and provided the best package. I started attending Sampler classes and had 4 private lessons as part of the Starter Kit. After the first lesson and Sampler in February 2008 I was hooked.

I have been attending Firefly classes and functions ever since. I've gradually increased my classes and still have one private lesson a week and now attend 4 times a week. I still love it. I've just become a member and look forward to improving my dancing ability and technique each week. "

This class is a great way to increase your fitness. At a basic level the movements are easy and keep you moving. As you learn more technique the same movements require more muscles to work together, allowing you to burn more calories. Everyone can find their own intensity.

Come along and give it a try for yourself. The Latin Workout class runs every Week. Drop in to one session for $20 or prepay 4 weeks for $70.
